Celebrate the Season!

Who:  Calling all students, all ages!  
What:  Send us a story, a poem, a drawing on what you will be celebrating in December.  It could be the beginning of Winter, Hanukkah, Kawanza, Christmas, the New Year or something else.  It can be a memory, a plan, or fiction.
When:  By Dec. 16.  We will publish as many as space allows on Dec. 27 & 29.
How:  Written work should be typed or printed neatly in pen.  150 words or less.      
    Drawings should be on 8 1/2” x 11” paper in black ink or black marker only.          
    Both should have student's name, grade, & school on back.  
Where:  Send to-  NIE, Daily American, Box 638, 334 W. Main St., Somerset, PA  15501.  Entries will not be returned.
Why:  We like to celebrate!
